Dr Michael Clark

Michael is Associate Professorial Research Fellow at the Care Policy & Evaluation Centre, London School of Economics and Political Science. His research spans areas of adult social care, including models of strengths-based practice, and particularly as it interfaces with dementia, mental health, homelessness and head injuries. He is passionate about working with people with practice and lived experience (including as carers) to develop the evidence base for better care and support. This includes helping these groups and third sector organisations to become more engaged with research.

Mike is also Managing Editor of the Journal of Long-term Care - a leading social care research journal which is free-to-access.

As one of the team that developed the Heads Together project, Michael contributes his overall experience of research and managing research projects. Additionally, he is contributing his knowledge on developing and researching complex interventions, and on knowledge exchange, all with a view to developing an ongoing programme of work to better support social work and social care with and for people who experience brain injuries and their families.
