
Patrick Boyd
Patrick is a Clinical Director, case manager and registered social worker at BPJ Case Management; he began working as a case manager in the field of independent brain and spinal injury rehabilitation in 2016. His work involves supporting individuals with acquired brain injury and their families through the rehabilitation process, meeting their needs, promoting access to services, and maximising their outcomes and quality of life.
Patrick is passionate about acquired brain injury and social work education, and is a visiting lecturer in Social Work at Teesside University, working with both undergraduate and postgraduate students to raise the profile of acquired brain injury and associated issues.
He is registered with Social Work England and is a member of the British Association of Social Workers (BASW), the British Association of Brain Injury Case Managers (BABICM), the International Social Work Group for Acquired Brain Injury (INSWABI) and is a voluntary Trustee of Headway Teesside. He joined the board of Trustees of BISWG in 2021.
